Choose any schedule but please be consistent in that. Regarding daily practice of this mantra, practically I have seen that people are not able to recite or listen to the mantra daily consistently since it involves 6-7 minutes.
Therefore, if the mantra has not been prescribed as a remedy in a particular horoscope, it is highly beneficial if it is recited even once a week preferably on a Sunday. This is do-able and it is easy to maintain consistency once a week.
